Insight from Bertha Wellness Center Committee

The Bertha City Council decided at their April 4 meeting not to acquire ownership of the Bertha Wellness Center. The decision was based on the committee’s recommendation, which has not been well received by many in the community.

The committee was comprised of community members Dennis Zimmerman and Greg Greenwaldt, Council Members Shawnette Newhouse and Karen Winkler, and Public Works Supervisor Mike Gaudette. City Clerk Brenda Roberts assisted the committee....
