Juvenile killed in car accident
On March 4, at approximately 7:43 a.m., the Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash on County Road 38, east of the intersection of 165th Avenue.
It was reported that a 2008 black Pontiac G6, driven by a juvenile female, was traveling eastbound on County Road 38 when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed the centerline.
A 2023 silver Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Richard Johnson, 58, of Nerstrand, MN, was traveling westbound on County 38 and struck the juvenile’s vehicle.
The juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Long Prairie Fire Department, the Long Prairie Police Department, CentraCare Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.
