Keeping up with the Lady Tigers

by Coach Jeni Burns

The Tigers started out their week on the road in Brandon-Evansville. Things were slow on the offensive end of the court for the Tigers, so they had to rely on their defensive efforts to get some points on the board.

The Tigers defense tallied 24 steals in the game, and they were able to convert on some easy buckets out of the full court press. The Tigers still need to do a better job of taking care of the basketball and limiting their own turnovers.

Team statistics for the game included: Anna Myers had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Alyah Abrahamson added 17 points and 6 steals, Lauren Schnettler with 10 points and 9 steals, Abby Marxer chipped in 5 points and was a great spark off the bench, and Lily Puck chipped in 4 points.

Final score was 56-33 with the Tigers ending up on top. . .
