Lady Pirates fall to two tough opponents

The Verndale Girls Basketball Team was outmatched when they traveled to Menahga as they fell to the Braves 20-59.

The Pirates were without Senior Madison Schmitz who was out due to a leg injury.

Menahga shot 51% from the field, while the Pirates shot 22%. Verndale had difficulties finding an offensive flow; the tempo of the fast-paced Braves disrupted the Pirates. . .
