Lady Raiders building their base

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raiders traveled to Bemidji State University on Tuesday, April 5, for an indoor track and field meet.

The Lady Raiders placed 13 out of the 25 teams competing.

Placing in the top 8 and scoring for the Raiders were Mia Arroyo - 1600 meter run (3rd, 5:54.07), Kendra Miller - 1600 meter run (5th, 5:56.64), 4 x 800 meter relay team of Mia Arroyo, Arrianna Bryniarski, Taylor Lloyd and Kendra Miller (4th, 11:08.09) and the 4x 400 meter relay team of Mikayla Allen, Kendra Miller, Makenzee Sales and Mia Arroyo (5th, 4:44:95). . .
