Lawson is Wadena County, Miss United States Agriculture
by Trinity Gruenberg
Busy with her junior dairy princess and regional FFA duties, Jayma Lawson has added another title and more responsibility in her role as Wadena County, Miss United States Agriculture.
Lawson has a passion for agriculture which includes animals of her own such as goats, chickens, rabbits and more. She was raised being involved in 4-H and FFA, now serving as the FFA chapter president and regional secretary.
This year she earned the title Junior Wadena County Dairy Princess. Part of her duties include advocating for farmers. She recently spent the morning talking to young children at the Verndale School. She’s a very busy teenager but enjoys it.
The Miss United States Agriculture program appeared on her Facebook and she got interested in the program. . .
