If you are interested in the situation in the Netherlands here is a link to an independent documentary.
The title is: Nitrogen 2000 The Dutch Farmers’ Struggle (45 minutes). It is by filmmaker James Patrick.

It starts with an interview but you can skip to minute 26 for the film.
The government is culling their cattle and taking their land. It has been proposed in Ireland and England, too.
It’s worth watching.
