How did you spend the Fourth of July? Many of us from Bertha gathered with friends and family to enjoy a picnic and fireworks and help build a house. The house, an octagonal structure built from lava rock and mortar, is the home of Church of God missionaries and it is located near Natron Lake in Africa where the Massai live. The Massai are a proud culture of herdsmen. —Aaron and Cindy Sprunger
