This deer hunting stand shown in the picture is quite unique. It is located near Hewitt and owned by Mark and Barb Allen of Hewitt. The planning and building of this stand has been an on-going project for the Allens for over a year. Thanks to the help of their children: Val, 14, and Travis, 9, and family friend Hank Greenwaldt, the finishing touches are underway. The floor of the hunting stand is 12 feet off the ground and the peak is 23 feet high. Dimensions are 12’x12’ with a 12’x4’ platform in front. It comes equipped with lights, ceiling fan, radio and a 19” TV.
