The Lions Club hopes to be selling pull tabs as soon as Friday, July 12 at the liquor store. Council Member Gary Kleen, also a Lions Member, said the Lions had needed a majority vote to sell the pull tabs and they received it. The Lions had bought a book from the Ottertail Lions Club for the selling of the pull tabs.

Results from the Bertha Frisbee Golf Tournament—Ages 6 to 9: first Tyler Thiel, second Michael Riewer and third Katie Weishair. Ages 10 to 15: first Jacob Elgin, second Amber Steininger, third Jared Voge. Ages 16 and up: first Billy Ward, second Eric Gorghuber, third John Klimek.

The Bertha-Hewitt Pee Wees split a pair of doubleheaders last week to move their season record to 11-10-1. Andy Kirscht pitched a strong game at Parkers Prairie in the opener but a few costly errors spelled defeat for the Bears. Tyler Kneisl scored three hits in game one with Darin Kuhnke adding two.
