Man injured in ATV accident

On June 25, at approximately 5:10 p.m., the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an ATV crash in Section 23 of Bullard Township, south of Cottingham Park.

It was reported that a male party was found lying on the ground near his ATV by family members. The male party, identified as Daniel Walters, 69, of St. Cloud, was driving a red Polaris four-wheeler when he lost control, fell off and injured his left side.

Walters was reported to be lying on the ground for 20-30 minutes before being located by family. . .
