Many hands make for light work

The annual Day of Caring was held on May 4 for the Verndale School 10th-12th grade students. They completed 19 jobs in town and spent the latter half of the afternoon cleaning up the grounds at England Prairie. Shelly Dukowitz, president of the England Prairie Pioneer Club, shared how much she appreciated the students’ help. “I love it. It makes our work so much easier and the grounds look pretty. Now we can mow and get flowers planted.”
