We gather each year on Memorial Day to mark the memory and salute the sacrifice of those who have given their most personal possession—life itself—that we might remain free.

The program will be held in the 2000 auditorium at the Bertha-Hewitt School. The program will be held via virtual broadcast from the Bertha-Hewitt High School. Broadcast will be on the Bertha-Hewitt High School website. The link will be available to join live or to watch at your convenience.

8 a.m. — Coffee and donuts will be served to Veterans and their families, as well as Legion and Auxiliary members and their families at the Legion Hall.


9 a.m. Naval service at city park bridge.


9:15 a.m. Program at Lions shelter with school band, choir and student speakers.

After the program, we will proceed to the Woodman Cemetery for a remembrance observance at the gravesites of Russell and Leora Lundstrom. Russell was a Prisoner of War of the German Army during WWII, but was able to escape.
