The Browerville VFW Post #8391 and Auxiliary donated $150 to the Browerville Girl Scouts. Pictured were Girl Scouts Anna Hegseth, Katie Brichacek and Jodi Ostrowski, along with Auxiliary President Sue Wiersgalla and Commander Clifton Sadlo.

On Friday, December 6, the Browerville Tigers hosted Henning and defeated them 44-38. The girls played three very good quarters then got sloppy in the fourth. Leading scorers: Stacy Gonsior 11, Robin Beck 10, Leah Michael 9, Jessie Frisch 8.

Reverend Richard C. John O.S.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. John of this village, has this week issued an invitation to his many Browerville friends to attend his ordination to the priesthood on Sunday, December 21. The ceremony will be held at the Immaculate Conception Monastery Chapel in Hastings. Following the ordination, Reverend John will come to Browerville where on Sunday, December 29, at 10:30 a.m., he will offer his first solemn Mass at St. Joseph Church.

The streets of Browerville remained under-decorated last week because of lighting restrictions. However, they took on a more festive air this week as the Christmas decorations were placed on the white lamp posts for the entire length of Main Street.
