Todd County Attorney Chuck Rasmussen asked the county commissioners to consider hiring more staff for his office. He now has one assistant. Rasmussen said the attorney time is just not there for county departments. Complicated board issues have increased. Income for the county has been lost because the county attorney’s office no longer has time to prosecute misdemeanors for the cities within the county.

Heartland Plays of Central Minnesota entertained Browerville Senior Citizens on December 18. Linda Kaufam, St. Joseph, played the piano, Hillary Vermillion of Minneapolis and Jack Richter of St. Cloud were the actors and Thomas Dunn was the director.
