We started this game in the same place we left off on Tuesday night in the fourth quarter. We played outstanding defense the whole game. We really upset their offense with good pressure put on by Jessie Frisch and Gina Oven. The down-low play of Beck, Gonsior, Michael and Massmann kept their inside play at bay. We wanted to prove to ourselves we were better than how we played on Tuesday night and we did.

Henry Buelow, manager of Diamond Point resort, near Sauk Centre, opened a roller skating rink here last week. Mr. Buelow, who operates three other rinks, one at Albany, one at Grey Eagle and another at Upsala, secured the Paderewski Hall in Browerville for skating. The roller skating project met with a hearty response on the opening night. The crowd was estimated at more than 300. However, by the very nature of the sport, it was believed, by those in charge of Paderewski Hall, to be not advisable to continue the venture due to the ruination of the floor and other furnishings in this auditorium.
