Rick Brichaek, owner of Rick’s Cabinets has been busy building showrooms in the former Land O’ Lakes storage building on north Main Street in Browerville. Rick purchased the building in July and planned to use it as a warehouse to store his cabinets and furniture. Other businesses have approached him about using space. Rick has been working quietly inside since September building a showroom that he will share with A and W Restoration, owned by Audrey Jacobson from Clarissa, who will showcase antique furniture. Other tenants will be Gary Bentz Photography and a tanning salon run by Rick’s wife Marilyn.

The Tigers football team completed the regular season with a 33-15 victory over the Parkers Prairie Panthers last Wednesday night in Parkers Prairie. The win gives the Tigers the Prairie Conference Championship for the second season in a row, as they finished the conference schedule with a perfect 6-0 record.

Notre Dame, Ind. James John of Browerville, was elected to the student council of the University of Notre Dame this week. James, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. F. John, is a junior in the College of Arts and Letters, majoring in history.

The senior class of Browerville High School is busily engaged with full plans for the presentation of their play ‘Girl Shy’, a three-act comedy that will be presented at the Paderewski Hall on Thursday evening, October 30. The stage will be transformed into a college apartment for Tom Arada and Oke Stimson.
