The Tigers butted heads again with Hawley and came up on the short end at the Fargodome on Friday, losing 22-7. Number 25, Troy Benning, on a quarterback keeper looked for an opening but they were few and far between as the Tigers' season came to an end. Congratulations Tigers on a great year.

The construction of the Dan’s Prize meat packing plant south of town is progressing on schedule despite the early snow. The infrastructure of water mains and sewer lines has been completed as of October 31. This week the pre-constructed walls will be installed.

November 6, 1947
An all star wrestling match will appear in Browerville under the auspices of the Paderewski Club at Paderewski Hall on Friday, November 7, at 8:30 a.m. In the main event will appear, Irish Paddy Nolan, junior heavyweight champion, who will meet The Masked Marvel of New York, who is one of the meanest wrestlers in the business. Nolan lives at Randall and is married to a Browerville girl Catherine Maschler.

According to Ivan Klabunde, Todd County DHIA tester, 184 of the 433 cows on test in the association were dry during October. Ten cows originally on the test were sold during the month, two being sold for dairy purposes and eight because of low production.
