In the last week and a half, the Tigers wrestling team has had four dual meets and one tournament. In dual meets, the Tigers had two wins and two losses. In tournament action, the Tigers placed sixth out of eight teams at the Osakis invitational. But the best news for their fans is that their wrestlers completed the Prairie Conference schedule with an undefeated record. The wins were over Eagle Valley and Osakis, giving the Tigers the Conference Championship for the 1997-98 season.

If timber wolves take up permanent residence in Todd County they will most likely have come from a pack established in Morrison County in recent years. Research being conducted on a pack at Camp Ripley by the Department of Natural Resources and the Minnesota Department of Military Affairs may have a significant impact on the future of Minnesota wolf management, according to DNR Non-game Biologist Sam Merrill.

The Paderewski Club made arrangements with the Junior Player’s Guild of St. Stanislaus Church of Perham, to present a three-act comedy called “Aunt Abbie Answers An Ad” on Sunday, February 8 in the Paderewski Hall. There will be a matinee and evening performance.

In spite of the extreme cold weather and the snowstorm last Thursday, over 200 local residents attended the family party given by the G. M. Monnies firm, local International Harvester dealer, at Paderewski Hall. A very interesting and entertaining program was given. All those attending reported it was a very nice program.
