Farmer’s Co-op held its annual customer appreciation day last Tuesday, April 7 and also sponsored tours of the Land O’Lakes whey processing plant. David Tynio enjoyed having lunch with his dad on the appreciation day. Brats, burgers, kraut, chips and beans were served to a steady crowd of hungry people. A total of 350 were served this year.

The following softball and baseball players were named to the Prairie All-Conference: Rayney Thompson (softball honorable mention), Nick Spychalla (baseball all-conference), and Stacy Gonsior (softball all-conference and co-MVP). Congratulations.

April 15, 1948
The Browerville Oil Co., Al Hynnek prop., is sponsoring an evening of free entertainment next Monday evening, April 19, at Paderewski Hall at 8 p.m. The Adventures of Rudy Crude and World Series Baseball in Technicolor will be shown on the screen. Hot coffee and lunch will be served to all attending free of charge. Everyone in this and the surrounding community are cordially invited to come and enjoy an entertaining evening.

The Browerville Commercial Club is sponsoring a dance that will be held at the Horseshoe Lake Pavilion on Friday evening, April 30. Joe Poplinski and his Sunset Ramblers are furnishing the music. A good time is assured for all who attend.
