“I’ll never live in the city,” Tammy Maschler vowed passionately. William, her husband and third generation farmer agreed. Talking about their family farm he said, “It’s a good place to raise children.” The Maschlers were among the elite few in the Browerville area this year to receive the coveted honor of becoming a century farm. They claim ownership in the family farm of one hundred years.

The Browerville Community Sportsman’s Club and the local Farm Bureau are sponsoring a free movie to be shown at the Paderowski Hall on Tuesday evening, September 21. The movie is an educational and entertaining film entitled, “Trigger Happy Harry.” Everyone is cordially invited to see this fine picture.

A record enrollment marked the beginning of the current school year at the Browerville Public School with 197 pupils. Fifty-three students enrolled in the elementary grades and 152 in the four year high school.
