December 17, 1998
There were 341 elementary students and teachers from Browerville Public and Christ the King Parochial schools that boarded buses to attend the Christmas play, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” in St. Cloud at the Paramount Theatre. Thanks to a very generous donation of $2000 from the Browerville Lions Club, all of the students were able to see a great theatre production at a beautiful and historic theatre.

On December 14, 1998, the Tigers hosted Bertha-Hewitt and won 73-70 in double overtime. Sarah Gonsior had her best night as a Tiger. She was not alone on the night. The Tigers shot 76% from the free throw line and were 9/12 in the fourth quarter and two over times. The Tigers had a total of 24 rebounds, 17 turnovers, seven steals, 13 assists and one block.

December 16, 1948
The Browerville Chick Hatchery sponsored a poultry meeting at the city hall on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. A large number of local farmers were in attendance. Several speakers were present and a fine lunch was served.

An official announcement was made today by the Minnesota Area Headquarters in Minneapolis that Todd County exceeded its quota in the Sister Kenny Foundation campaign. Tabulations of amounts received so far show that the county made 137 percent of its quota in reporting that $2943.92 was raised.
