Harlen Hokanson has taught agriculture classes for over 30 years, the past 26 in Browerville. Pictured, students studied a variety of things including small engines, animal judging and soil testing to name a few. Harlen has brought his own special touch to the Exploring Soils class. He has collected soils from all over the United States and many from other countries.

Browerville High School Senior Luke Katterhagen ended his wrestling career with 99 wins, after losing to number one state ranked Chad Munsch of St. Charles at the State Individual Tournament last Thursday. Luke was only able to wrestle one match which he lost to Munsch 7-6 in double overtime.

Dr. Albert J. Lenarz of Browerville studied newer methods of diagnosing heart disease at a two-day continuation course in cardiovascular disease at the University of Minnesota, February 14-15.

The Buelow Recreation at Long Prairie will be the scene of a fine wrestling card on Saturday, February 26, at 9 p.m. The wrestlers are Abe Kashey vs Pete Managoff, Dutch Howett vs. Joe Pazandak, and Johny Kurguz vs. Stan Mayslack. You saw Managoff, Howett and Mayslack on a previous card. Now you can see them again, and the old villain of the ring Abe Kashey.
