Dave Hopkins is the new manager at Land O’Lakes. He took over after the sudden death of former Manager Mike Schultz. Dave brings with him 25 years of experience and a lot of faith in the company and the product.

At their December 30 board meeting, Todd County Commissioners approved a three percent pay increase for the county attorney, auditor/treasurer, recorder and sheriff. Sheriff David Kircher also accepted an additional $5000 salary adjustment.

A new series of Chevrolet passenger cars, reportedly one of the most important ever developed by the company, will be shown on Saturday, January 7, at the G.A. Monnie and Son’s Garage. W.E. Fish, general manager, made the announcement today as some 7000 Chevrolet dealers across the country began preparations for elaborate showroom presentations.

The Browerville Commercial Club is starting the new year with plans being made for the first meeting at the city hall next Thursday evening, January 12 at 8 p.m. A new set of officers has been elected to carry on during 1950. They are: Sylvester Lamusga, president: Frank Eldred, vice president; Wurban Lemm, treasurer; and Frank Wenzel, secretary.
