The Holy Trinity Church dates back to a time of ethnic division in Browerville when there were three Catholic churches: St. Peter’s-German, Christ the King (formerly St. Joseph’s)-Polish and Holy Trinity-Slovenian. The little church located on the east side of the Long Prairie River only held about 50 people, remembered former parishioner Eve Jonckowski. She made her first communion there in 1935. The church was in use for about 30 years but as the congregation dwindled members changed to St. Peter’s and Christ the King.
