For the second time in two tries, eighth grader Kendra Miller qualified for the Minnesota State Cross Country Championships this coming Saturday at St. Olaf College. Kendra placed 6th at Section 6A running a 20:10 to punch her ticket to the State meet.

Freshman Audrey Brownell from Staples-Motley won the race with a time of 18:57 at the Vintage Golf Course in Staples.

“Kendra Miller is a gamer when it comes to running in big meets,” stated Coach Hanson

“She has the experience and confidence that it takes in these races. I am extremely happy for her as she heads to the State meet for the second time and this year being injury free.” . . .
