Contracts can’t require

out-of-state venue

Sales representatives will get their day in Minnesota court. A new law will bar sales representative agreement provisions that include a choice of venue in another state. This means sales representatives working in Minnesota won’t face undue travel burdens in a dispute and manufacturers can’t have sales contracts adjudicated out of state. . .
