Pirates 54 vs. Hornets 37

In the second half, the Verndale Pirates pulled away from the Henning Hornets and posted a 54-37 victory.

Verndale hit 47% of their 3 point attempts (9/19), while Henning shot 18% (2/17). Overall, the Pirates were 18 of 47 (38%) and the Hornets were 14 of 34 (41%).

Verndale forced 23 Hornet turnovers.

Avery Amerud scored a season-high 16 points, while Reagen Ludovissie added 15 points....
