Pirates boys basketball team continues winning streak

The Sebeka Trojans came to Verndale for a Girls/Boys Doubleheader on Friday, December 10. The Pirates ended up sweeping the Trojans on the night. The Varsity Boys team won by a score of 67-23.

The Pirates got out to an early lead and didn’t look back on this one.

Brandon Greenwaldt, Ben Brownlow and Hunter Umland all scored in double digits with 19, 15, and 13 points respectively. Brandon Greenwaldt also grabbed 13 rebounds to complete his second consecutive double/double. Ben Brownlow had 9 steals to go with his 15 points.

The win puts the Pirates record at 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the Park Region Conference. . .
