Pirates claim victory over the Bears

Verndale posted a 45-40 Park Region Conference victory over the Bertha-Hewitt Bears, despite only shooting 33% from the field.

The Bears scored the first basket, but after that, Verndale led the entire game. The Pirates outrebounded the Bears 39-25.

Katie Blaha had her first career double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Blaha also had 3 steals.

Mallory Uselman and Reagen Ludovissie joined Blaha with double-digits in scoring. . .
