Pirates drop heart breaker to Cromwell

The Verndale Pirates Football team put up a fight against the Cromwell team but just were not able to carry the ball to more touchdowns.

A 48 yard run by Shawn Schmitz and a 2 point conversion gave the Pirates their only scoring points in the second quarter.

The final score was Cromwell 22-Verndale 8.
