On Monday, January 23 the Verndale Pirates Boys Basketball team hosted the Nevis Tigers and lost by a score of 73-42. Tyce Russell and Jaden Schulke each had 9 points to lead the Pirates in scoring. Shawn Schmitz and Torii Hagen each had 5 rebounds. Schulke also had 5 assists and 4 steals on the night.
