Pirates fall to the Huskies

The Verndale Girls Basketball squad fell to the Pillager Huskies 37-60. Early in the game, Verndale found themselves in foul trouble. Pillager converted on 15 of their 24 free throws, while the Pirates shot just 11 free throws and made only 5. Katie Blaha was the only Pirate to score in double-figures with 14 points. She also ripped down 9 rebounds. Verndale was effective in hitting open teammates as they had 15 total assists. . .
