Pirates fight Arrows for the win, get pecked by Cardinals

In a physical game, the Verndale Pirates defeated the Ashby Arrows 62-40 on February 6.
The Pirates scored 26 points off of Arrow turnovers. As a team, Verndale had 20 steals and forced 25 total Ashby turnovers.
Avery Amerud and Taylor Johnson each grabbed 7 steals.
Amerud added 13 points to compliment her defense, while Reagen Ludovissie finished with 19 points.
Coach Schluttner was able to use a variety of lineups to give players rest opportunities in their three-game week. . .
