Pirates finish their season at Sections

The Verndale Cross Country team wrapped up their season this last Thursday, October 24 at the Section 6A meet at Whitetail Run Golf Course.

The evening was soggy and cool, but the runners brought their A-game and ran a great race.

Varsity girls participating in the meet were Angelica Arroyo finishing with a time of 24 minutes and 31 seconds and Haylee Horn completing the course with a time of 27 minutes and 37 seconds....
