Pirates get bit by Tigers and stung by Hornets

The Pirates were unable to hold on to a slim lead and fell to the Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers 53-55. Costly turnovers in the final four minutes of play allowed the Tigers to take a lead in the final minute of the game.

In a physical game, the Pirates hit 9 of their 10 free throw attempts. The Pirates finished with 20 assists as they were able to score in transition and on backdoor cuts.

Taylor Johnson and Katie Blaha both finished with a double-double, both scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds.
