Pirates have a slow start against Trojans

A slow start thwarted the Pirates as they fell to the Sebeka Trojans 20-54.

The Pirates offense was stagnant in the first half as they were down 2-28 at the half.

On the night, Verndale shot 21%.

In the second half, the Pirates sharpened up, playing even with the Trojans.

Verndale had 35 rebounds, while Sebeka finished with 36 rebounds.
