The Pirates trailed 23-28 at halftime and lost to the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder 46-64. The Pirates shot better than the Thunder, but were outrebounded as the Thunder had 33 offensive rebounds. Verndale shot 33%, while LPGE shot 29%.

Kaija Madsen finished with 14 points. Emily Elfstrum was just shy of a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Elfstrum also dished out 6 assists. Aspen Orlando also had 6 assists....
