Pirates take down the Trojans 67-23

The Pirates Boys Basketball team had their home opener on Thursday night against Staples-Motley. Early in the second half the Cardinals took a 12 point lead. The Pirates fought back and cut the lead to 2 points late in the game.

The Cardinals did a good job of putting the game away at the free-throw line going 9-11 from the charity stripe in the second half. Brandon Greenwaldt had a double-double scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Hunter Umland scored 14 points. Josh Johnson contributed 7 assists on the night. . .
