The Pirates found themselves down 50-10 at halftime against the Menahga Braves, but played a more even second half as they were outscored 30-20, leading to a 80-30 defeat.

The Braves shot a blistering 60% from behind the three-point line, while the Pirates were 2 for 8.

Avery Amerud finished the game in double-figures, scoring 16 points.

The Pirates committed 19 turnovers and forced 11 Braves’ turnovers.
