On Monday, February 28, the Pirates Boys Basketball opened their last week of the regular season with an exciting win over Park Region Conference foe the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines.
The 60-58 win gave the Pirates sole possession of third place in the Park Region Conference behind champion New York Mills and Henning.
In a game that saw 12 lead changes, the Pirates took a 30-25 lead into halftime. The Wolverines had the lead late in the contest. Brandon Greenwaldt tied the game at 58-58 with just under a minute to go. . .
