Raiders blast through opponents in section tournament

Early offense, some timely hits, and exceptional pitching have been the key to victory for the Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders in their playoff run.

The Raiders have outscored their opponents 23-5 in their 3 playoff games so far. They beat Walker 10-0, PRB 4-0, and Nevis 9-5.

In the Pine River game, Kole Weishalla pitched an absolute gem. Kole went 7 innings, gave up 4 hits, 0 runs, and had 7 strikeouts.

Jaden Schulke had a huge day at the plate going 2-3. Kole Weishalla, Josh Johnson, and Shawn Schmitz all had hits as well. The Raiders played exceptional defense behind their senior right-hander as well. . .
