Raiders participate in first outdoor event

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raiders traveled to Battle Lake on Thursday, April 21, for their first outdoor Track & Field meet.

The Lady Raiders placed 2nd out of the 7 teams competing. It should be noted that because of the weather/ground conditions only running events were contested.

Placing in the top 8 and scoring for the Raiders were Olivia Stanley - 100 meter dash (1st, 13.16) and 200 meter dash (2nd - 27.84), Lezah Dean - 400 meter dash (4th, 1:09.38), Michaela Barthel - 100 meter hurdles (4th, 17.98) and 300 meter hurdles (6th, 59.63), Mia Arroyo - 3200 meter run (1st, 12:54.36), Kendra Miller - 1600 meter run (2nd, 5:47.83), Taylor Lloyd - 800 meter run . . .
