Raiders start second half strong

by Coach Michael Arvidson

After a couple of weeks off for the holidays, BHVPP got back on the mat last Thursday when they traveled to Barnesville for a quadrangular. The opening round was against the host Trojans and the Raiders wasted no time getting off to a fast start. Isaac Grabow and Hudson Truax picked up falls to precede a forfeit for Orran Hart. The Trojans took 126 before the Raiders rallied for a five-match win streak with falls from Evan Jares, David Revering, and Blake Sumstad. Bennet Arceneau knocked off his ranked opponent and Tanner Schulke collected a forfeit to lock down the dual at 45-3. Barnesville would take three of the final five weights but forfeits for Justin Koehn and Zach Mrnak finalized the dual at 57-18.. .
