Northland Dairy Supply, Eagle Bend, has been honored for outstanding snowmobile sales performance during the 1996-97 season. Northland Dairy Supply received the Century 100 Club Award at the recent Polaris dealership sales convention.

On July 1, Tim and Char Greene officially opened Creative Floors—a complete floor covering center. The business is located at 235 North Street West, just off U.S. Highway 71 and a block north of Main Street in Eagle Bend. Hundreds of carpet samples, linoleum, ceramic tile, hardwood flooring and the new laminated wood or stone patterned floor covering await the remodeler or home builder.

July 13, 1972
A 1996 Dodge pickup belonging to James Neuerburg of Route 1, Wadena was recovered about 12:40 a.m. on Saturday about a mile north of Eagle Bend on Highway 71. The vehicle ran off the road and had been abandoned. A passerby notified Eagle Bend Policeman Virgil Hokanson about the vehicle in the ditch. Upon routine investigation, he discovered it was a stolen vehicle.

The Class of 1922 of the Eagle Bend High School held their Golden (50th) Class Reunion at the Interlachen Inn in Alexandrian on Thursday, July 6.
