Residents of the Eagle Bend High School district might ask what is a Santiago. A Santiago is a number 55 on a football jersey, a Santiago is a tennis racket in hand, a Santiago is a basketball player, and a Santiago is a student carrying the most challenge studying chemistry, physics, and introduction to analysis. Santiago is a foreign exchange student from Pasto, Narino, Colombia, South America. He comes to Eagle Bend to study for at least six months, perhaps nine depending upon whether or not he feels he has learned enough to return home.
