The Eagle Valley Drama Department, under the direction of Cheryl Taylor, is proud to present “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennessee Williams. The play takes place in a poor section of St. Louis and is centered around the Wingfield family. Cast members are Mike Willie, Jackee Svaren, Jason Martinson, Amber Benning and crew members: Arin Stoterau, DeeAnn Durheim, Jessica Johnson, Becca Asfeld, Missy Olson, Sonja Stoterau and Kristie Olson.

The Seven Dwarfs visited Eagle Valley Elementary students on Friday, October 31 to give the students safety tips for Halloween trick-or-treating. The students enjoyed the presentations and the candy distributed by the dwarfs. The dwarfs were played by seven Eagle Valley High School students: Jill Pontius, Alesha Murch, Amber Benning, Meghan Greene, Arin Stoterau, Pattijo Johnson and Jackee Svaren.

The Outlaw Store in Eagle Bend will once again open its doors for business this Saturday, November 4. In a business transaction completed on Monday of this week, Gasper J. and Shelia Wolf became the new owners of The Outlaw Store.

Bryon Simar, Brent Kolstad, Dallas Hamilton and Tim Klassen were the Eagle Bend FFA Chapter’s delegates to the National FFA Convention. Mr. Melvin Lloyd, the chapter advisor, accompanied the delegates. The convention is held each October in Kansas City, Missouri. This year more than 15,000 members attended.
