News from Eagle Bend's Past

Valentine’s night at the Eagle Bend City Hall was filled with laughter, music, and lots of “boogying” bodies. Girl Scouts from Bertha, Clarissa and Eagle Bend gathered with their grandpas, dads and special guests for a “Valentine’s Dad and Me Dance” sponsored by the Cadette Girl Scout Troop #283. Special grandpa, Ed Boherer of Monticello, came all the way to D.J. for the dance for granddaughters Brittany and Paige Borst. The dance started off slow, but in no time at all everyone was up dancing to the “Macarena.” Smiles covered the faces of all the Girl Scouts as their dads/guests proudly danced the night away with them.
