Our home is our castle. So many of us consider our home a safe place, a refuge from the world. On Tuesday, September 15, Bruce and Tammy Anderson’s home in Eagle Bend was broken into and their sense of security was shaken. Daughter Jennifer stopped home over the noon hour to pick something up. She went into her parents’ bedroom to use the phone to call Tammy at work and she saw that the closets were emptied and the drawers dumped out. Tammy rushed home and called the police. Bruce also returned to the home. It was determined that the culprit or culprits pried open the entrance into the garage. The thieves took a VCR and video games as well as guns, and a case of Mountain Dew.
