The Eagles took an early command of the game with a touchdown on the first play from kickoff. Johnny Sinotte scampered 50 yards around the right end into pay dirt and Howard Heldt caught a pass to add the extra point. In the last quarter the only one scoring a TD on a run was Vernon Rhodes. The conversion was no good. The score read 46 to 6 in favor of the Eagles as the final gun sounded.
